Seasonal Travel: The Best Destinations for a Halloween Holiday

Brighton – Fear Festival

When it comes to celebrating Halloween there are many different ways to go about it and it is totally dependent on how you want to spend the amazing holiday. For those of you who are thrill chasers and love something really scary to get you into the Halloween spirit then I would totally recommend that you take a trip to Brighton. This seaside city always looks great during the autumn and Halloween season with extravagant street lights and street parties to celebrate. If you do decide to visit then there is a particular event for those of you who are thrill seekers on Halloween, the fear festival is set in a spooky farm location, with a walkthrough of many different areas all packed with truly terrifying actors and many horrific scene setups to celebrate the spooky season with a good scare.

Paris – Disneyland

If you are lucky enough to have the budget available for a more extravagant trip for Halloween then Disneyland would have to be the one for you. Their Halloween event is a celebration of the several famous Disney villains that are in the franchise, with a huge street party and Halloween parade, the Disney Halloween event is great fun for all the family. If you are able to spend a few days there then there is usually a seasonal promotion to make you’re booking a little cheaper including access to all the different areas within Disney and all of the rides and attractions in the park. A visit to Disneyland at any time is a real treat but when it comes to Halloween there really is no expense spared making this destination one of the best to visit if you are looking for a Halloween holiday suitable for your whole family.

London – Hyde Park

If you are not really interested in celebrating Halloween and you are looking for something that you can do to get a nice relaxing break this autumn season then I have just the place for you. London is a great location for a city break due to the fact that there is just so much to do. It can be a good idea to get away in the time before the Christmas festivities begin and visiting a city allows you to get ahead with the Christmas shopping whilst you enjoy the Autumn atmosphere that is present. Hyde Park is a particularly beautiful place to visit during your time in London with many street performers showing what they can do and a wide area of a green landscape scattered with the classic autumnal colors, why not go for a healthy autumn walk with your loved ones and take advantage of the time to relax.

Alton – Alton Towers (UK)

The final destination that would be perfect to visit this Halloween would have to be Alton Towers, this amazing theme park hosts an annual Halloween fear event within the vast grounds of the park and amongst the many theme park rides and attractions. The onsite hotel is great for families who wish to stay a few days to get the most out of their visit, the Halloween event features numerous terrifying acts and parades, and the fact that all of the rides are open and available to ride until late at night only adds to the spookiness of the event. Alton Towers is known for putting on a great show every year for Halloween so it is definitely worth going if you get the chance, they are also the creators of multiple record-breaking roller coasters so it would also be great if you are a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
