The 7 Most Beautiful National Parks around the Globe

Yellowstone is located in the states in northwest Wyoming and is also a part of the neighboring states of Montana and Idaho. This beautiful location would have to be one of the most visited national parks on this list. It is very well known for its wildlife-rich scenery and of course the famous tourist attraction of the Old Faithful geyser. The Yellowstone area is one that is very rich with history, the area was in fact a traditionally Native American part of the states so it is actually a very cultural location with a very interesting story.

It seems that the states are very proud of their national parks and the next to feature on this list would have to be the Californian location of Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is best known for its iconic valley and a truly serene atmosphere that comes with the vast mountains of granite that can be seen from all over this park. Thanks to the large mountain there is a significant amount of shade at this location however this has brought a unique attraction to the park with a special type of grass that grows well in the shade, as well as an array of other wildlife.

The Grand Canyon

There should be no question as to why this iconic location made it onto this list, the Grand Canyon is a protected national park and an American landmark. The vast valleys of bright red-orange clay that make up the Grand Canyon would have to go down as one of the most recognized American attractions to ever exist.

Serengeti National Park

The next national park which is one of the most beautiful on the globe would have to be the Serengeti National Park located in Tanzania; if you have the opportunity to visit this amazing place, then I am sure that you will not be disappointed. This location is pretty unique as it is most known for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and a quarter of a million zebras.

Zion National Park

The Zion National Park is located in Utah and is home to a very beautiful landscape of a mixture of both mountains and plant life, the juxtaposition of huge towering mountains with a plain of rich greenery is something that you don’t find often. This national park also has a very deep history with stories of ancestral natives who walked the mountains being this park’s main selling point.

Jasper National Park

The next park on this list is the Jasper National Park which can be found in Canada near Jasper, this park houses over 11,000 square kilometers of beautiful wildlife and natural beauty. This would have to be one of Canada’s most visited attractions with an annual rate that is well up in the millions, throughout all of the seasons this place just gets more beautiful and with the unique wildlife that each season brings, I would say that this is one to visit if you ever get the chance.

Glacier National Park

The final national park that I will be looking at is the Glacier National Park in Montana, this park is definitely suitable for those of you that enjoy hiking and long nature trails that can help you get away from the city. Glacier National Park is home to some of the largest mountain peaks in America and is perfect for somebody who wants to feel like they are truly alone in the wilderness, this park is not for the faint of heart and is better suited to a thrill seeker who loves to hike.
